Authorization Number
If
you are unhappy in any way with the any non- custom product you have received from
Home-Headquarters.com, you may return these
items for a refund or exchange. Return Authorizations must be
requested within 15 days of receipt of merchandise for refund or
exchange to occur. Please read the items
below before returning a product.
RETURN AUTHORIZATION: You must first obtain a Return
Authorization number from our Customer Service department. All
Return Authorization requests must be made by
filling out this form. To avoid delays, when requesting
a Return Authorization number, please refer to the order
number that appears on your e-mail receipt.
Please also state the reason for your request and a Return
Authorization number will be sent to you via E-mail. Return
Authorizations must be requested within 15 days of receipt of
merchandise.
REFUNDS: For refunds to be issued, all returns must be
received by Home Headquarters within 14 days of issuance of Return
Authorization number. The cost of your product less 15% restocking
fee will be refunded, we are unable refund the cost of shipping
product out to you. At times we offer free shipping or free shipping
upgrades. At these times, our shipping cost will be deducted from
your refund.

Credit will not be given for returns shipped directly to any of
our manufacturers.
CANCELLATIONS:
Orders cancelled after they have been shipped or sewing has begun, will be treated as a
return and are subject to cost of shipping the item to you and 15% restocking fee
being deducted from the refund.
REFUSAL: Refusal of a shipment without prior written
authorization from Home-Headquarters.com, is subject to the same terms of any
other return and may result in a higher shipping rate being deducted
from your refund.
RETURNED GOODS: All returned goods must be in salable condition
and in their original packaging. Soiled goods and goods determined to
have been used or damaged by the customer, will not be accepted for
credit or exchange. Soil includes but is not limited to: odors, pet
or human hair, cigarette burns or odor, food or liquid spills, pet
soils. Covers determined to have been laundered or dry-cleaned before
being returned, are no longer considered new and in salable condition.
After your returned cover has been received and examined by
Home Headquarters and determined to be new and in salable condition, the
credit card on which you made the original purchase will be refunded
less any applicable restocking and/or shipping charges. Failure to
comply with our return policies could result in no refund or only a
partial refund being given. Returns will be processed in 10-14 days.
BE SURE OF SIZE: About 90% of our futon cover returns are
because the customer selected an incorrect size. If you are ordering a Queen Size
futon cover, we strongly urge you
to first go to, our
Futon Cover Measuring Guide to insure that you are ordering the
correct size. If you will first measure your mattress, it will
eliminate the inconvenience and expense of returning your cover and
the disappointment of waiting to receive the correct size.
NOT RETURNABLE: The following items are not returnable unless
defective:
• Any item designated Custom in the description as these items
are custom sewn to order..
• To enable Home-Headquarters.com to offer our special Internet pricing on
fabric yardage, we are not able to accept returns on cut yardage
unless the fabric is found to be defective.
If you are ordering a custom product or cut yardage, it is strongly
recommended you first order a swatch so that you can be sure about
your fabric selection(s). The cost of a swatch is only $4.99 each,
including shipping and handling. Swatches are not returnable, however,
after you have placed your swatch order, we will email to you, a
coupon code that may be used when placing an order for one of our
products. This coupon code, when entered at checkout, will enable you
to receive $4.99 off the cost of your order (only one $4.99 discount
coupon may be used per order). A swatch will ensure you that the
fabric you have selected, will appear as represented to you on our web
site.
DEFECTS: If you feel your product is defective, please contact our Customer Service department. Do not ship
back to Home Headquarters or its factory without first
e-mailing or contacting us. We will issue a Return
Authorization for the defective item. Once the item is received and
inspected and determined to be defective, if the item is still
within warranty, the item will be repaired or replaced at the
manufacturer's discretion. All manufacturer's warranties apply.
SHIPPING DAMAGE: If your shipment of any of our products
arrives damaged, please have the delivery person notate this on
their manifest then immediately call Customer Service at
1-866-571-9343 or
e-mailing us. We will contact the shipping
factory or delivery company for resolution of the issue. Our Customer
Service Department is open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, EST.
However, you can E-mail us any time.
